INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup universal flour
  • 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 apple, peeled and chopped

PREPARATION:

  1. The oven is preheated to 350 degrees. Add grease to the 9 x 5 inch bread pan. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside. Use a power mixer to put the sugar and butter together in a bowl until smooth and smooth. Beat eggs once until you add; add vanilla extract.
  2. Mix the flour and baking powder in another bowl stir into a creamy butter mixture. Mix the milk in the batter until it slips. Pour half of the batter into the prepared bread pan. Next add half of the apple and half of the brown sugar cinnamon mixture. Gently tap the apple mixture into the batter.
  3. Pour the remaining batter on the apple layer place the remaining apple on top and add more brown sugar/cinnamon mixture. Gently tap the apple into a batter; use a finger or spoon to screw the brown sugar mixture into the apple.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven until 30 to 40 minutes until the toothpick inserted in the middle of the bread becomes clean.
