INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 chopped celery
  • 1/2 of the onion is about 2/3 cup, chopped
  • 1 cup of chopped mushrooms, about 4 ounces
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil available
  • 2 cups of homemade or shop purchased bread crumbs
  • 1 cup of cooked rice or brown can be
  • 1 cup of walnuts in a food processor or blender until almost identical to the meal
  • 6 tablespoons of gluten flour is also known as important wheat gluten
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or dried ground
  • 1 chopped garlic chopped
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce or seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons of water or unsweetened soy milk. The actual amount required may vary slightly.

PREPARATION:

  1. In a frying pan, add celery, onions and mushrooms to 1 tablespoon of olive oil (or a few tablespoons of water) and fry until soft.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the remaining ingredients (and the fried vegetables after the completion). You may need to adjust the amount of liquid (water or soy milk) you need based on whether you are using breadcrumbs purchased at the store or making your own breadcrumbs. Fresh bread like me. I recommend adding extra water or 1 tbsp of soy milk at a time until the hamburger mixture reaches the desired consistency (not wet, but soft, moist and malleable).
  3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. The burger mixture is formed into a 1/4 cup patties and placed on a greased or non-stick slab. Bake the patties for about 30 minutes and flip each pie after the first 15 minutes.
  5. Allow the meatloaf to cool for a few minutes before serving. Allow the patties to cool to room temperature before freezing.
